What are Dolphins?

Dolphins are a junior group attached to the Navy Cadet Unit at Petone Beach, Lower Hutt. We recognise the need to provide activities for a younger group – 10 to 13 years old, rather than traditional Navy Cadets, which only take boys and girls over 13 years of age. and assist children to develop useable skills in a fun atmosphere at their own pace.

Dolphins costs $60 for the first term, then $30 per term there after. Children will be supplied with a uniform baseball cap, t-shirt, sweatshirt and cargo pants after 4 weeks of attendance. The uniform remains the property of Tamatoa Dolphins and must be returned when the young person leaves Dolphins.

Dolphins meet every Tuesday (during school term) between 6.30pm and 8:30pm at T.S. Tamatoa Navy Cadet Unit at 160 The Esplanade, Petone, across the road from Waitomo
