What are Dolphins?
Dolphins are a junior group attached to the Sea Cadet Unit at Petone Beach, Lower Hutt. We recognise the need to provide activities for a younger group – 10 to 13 years old, rather than traditional Sea Cadets, which only take boys and girls over 13 years of age. and assist children to develop useable skills in a fun atmosphere at their own pace.

Dolphins costs $25.00 per term and children will be supplied with a uniform baseball cap, t-shirt, sweatshirt and cargo pants after 4 weeks attendance. The term fee is entirely voluntary and although this is our only source of funding we will not prevent anyone from joining and taking a full part in dolphins for financial reasons. We do request that a refundable $25.00 uniform bond is paid to ensure that the uniform is returned when the young person leaves Dolphins.
